Over 50 Years of Service.
A Lasting Difference in Our Community.
Welcome to Stony Stratford Lions Club
A Legacy of Service.
A Commitment to the Future!
Our club was established in June 1975. Since then, generations of Lions have given their time, energy and commitment to projects that make a genuine difference. Some of our work has become a lasting part of community life.
Since 1975
Our Club was formed in June 1975 and have celebrated over 50 years of service to local community, national and international communities. We are part of the worlds largest network of voluntary service clubs, Lions Clubs International.
SINCE 1999
Promoting the Message in a Bottle initiative, helping people keep important personal and medical information accessible in an emergency.
SINCE 2003
Donating books to schools and libraries, helping children discover the enjoyment of reading.
SINCE 2005
Supporting individuals and projects around the world through Kiva Loans. Our club has been lending small amounts via Kiva, a non-profit micro lending platform. A loan of £25 pounds is an easy way to make a difference in someone’s life.
Our Projects Tell Our Story
Some of the most meaningful contributions are made quietly, through projects that continue year after year.
Message In A Bottle and Wallet
A simple initiative that helps ensure important personal and medical information can be found when it is needed most. Our club provides these free of charge across Milton Keynes.
Stony Stratford Remembrance Day
A community tradition organised by our club at Horsefair Green since 1997, bringing together local people and young members of the Scouting association.
Books for Schools and Libraries
Since 2003, we have helped put books into the hands of children, supporting schools and libraries locally and internationally.
Kiva Loans
For more than 20 years, we have supported small-scale projects around the world through loans that can be repaid and lent again to help others.
Household Support
Providing practical household items to local families and individuals experiencing difficult circumstances.
Support for Ukraine
